Suzann graduated from Red Land High School where she was later inducted into the hall of fame. She continued on to play Division 1 field hockey at Lock Haven University (LHU), earning an unprecedented for straight Northeast Conference (NEC) titles. Suzann was a four-year starter, three-tine first team all-conference forward, and was named tournament MVP her senior year. Suzann was team captain her final two seasons and concluded her career at LHU with a record of 71-20-0. She competed with LHU in the NCAA play-in game all four years, but they were unable to clinch the win to advance to the Sweet 16. Suzann was selected to the Division 1 All Star team, where she made her last collegiate appearance against the U.S. Women’s National Team.

Suzann began coaching club field hockey in 2010 for the PA Mavericks who then merged with Nook Field Hockey in 2016. She coached at the Nook until 2018 where she scaled back to coach Red Land Youth and grow her family. She coached Red Land Youth field hockey for three years followed by Red Land Middle School for two years. Suzann returned to coaching club hockey in 2023 with CP.
